Launching the vehicles, Venu Srinivasan, Chairman, TVS Motors said: “TVS Motors has been at the forefront in bringing new and relevant technology to our customers. This launch is yet another reiteration of the TVS promise, to deliver high quality, customer centric products.”
The name is not new as TVS launched Victor way back in 2002. By then it was the first full indigenously manufactured product of TVS and the first four stroke offering from the company. It comes with an 8 litre fuel tank; wheelbase of 1260 mm with a ground clearance of 175 mm. Victor will be available in Disc and Drum Brake variants. While the former’s ex-showroom price would be Rs 49,490, the latter would be Rs 51,490.
Apache RTR 200
Addressing the needs of racing enthusiasts is the all new Apache RTR 200 4V, which comes with a RPM band used for tuning, oil cooled combustion chamber based engine, race tuned KYB mono-shock suspension, racing double barrel exhaust and roto petal disc brake. The bike is said to be manufactured in Carburettor and Pirelli variants. Anyhow, the company is planning to launch the Carburettor model immediately with an ex-showroom price of Rs 88,990.
Addressing to media queries, Venu Srinivasan said: “we are expecting around 25,000 Victors and 7000 Apache RTR 200 to be sold by Diwali. Starting from February both the products will be available in south initially and then will be extended to other markets gradually.”
