Chennai will soon get its World Trade Centre

After Bengaluru and Kochi, Chennai will be the third city to have a World Trade Centre (WTC). Bengaluru based Brigade Group has licences to build five WTCs in southern cities. To be set up at Perungudi at a cost of Rs 1000 crore, the project will be developed over 2.5 million sq. ft of commercial and office space on the 16-acre land parcel bought from Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. Perungudi Real Estate, a special purpose vehicle has been set up for the acquisition.
