Three more leather clusters…
The 29th edition of the India International Leather Fair attracted 385 exhibitors from around the globe. With equilibrium as the theme, the displays at the fair were focused on machinery, chemicals, components and effluents. With more opportunities arising in leather sector, the government plans to set up three more clusters- 186 acres at Uttar Pradesh, 103 acres at Tada near Chennai and about 100 acres at Krishnapattinam in Andhra Pradesh. E M Sudarsana Natchiappan, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry inaugurated the fair and gave away the export awards.
