Robots have been replacing human intervention wherever it is probable. A Robot waiter is quite a surprise to the Chennaites. A restaurant on the OMR, named Robot, which serves the Chinese cuisine, has imported robots from China to be their waiters.  The tables have i-pads fixed on them where the customer can place the order and the order will be transmitted to the kitchen. And the robot will deliver the plate of ordered dishes. The robots are fixed with sensors which help them carry the right order to the right table. The robots welcome the customers and guide them to the seats. The robots are also programmed in such a way that it remembers if the customer has visited them earlier.  You can take selfies with the robots.
