With a target to take over 80 per cent of dredging operations, Dredging Corporation of India’s (DCI) Dredge XX was dedicated to the nation by Minister of Shipping

G K Vasan. Along with this second trailer suction hopper dredger, DCI plans to purchase three more dredgers within two years. By 2020, India envisions becoming 100 per cent self sufficient in dredging.
