The Tamil Chamber of Commerce jointly with the Chozha Nachiaar Foundation presented the versatile thespian Kamal Haasan with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Receiving the award, Kamal said: “I know nothing else but cinema. I am thankful to this industry for treating me as a kid even when I am nearing 60.”

Among the dignitaries present were T N Governor K Rosaiah, Directors S P Muthuraman and R C Sakthi, former Madras High Court judge S Jagadeesan and British Deputy High Commissioner Bharat Joshi.
