Arnold visits Chennai

The bodybuilding hero of fitness freaks made an hurricane visit to Chennai for the audio launch of Shankar’s latest film, I. The former Governor of California state made a wholesome one-day trip to Chennai. Right after he landed from his private jet, the Terminator star made news with his each move. He met the Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and later left for the audio launch.

I, a Vikram-starrer movie has raised lot of expectations. Budgeted at Rs 1.85 billion, the movie has been under production for more than 2 years. Till date, it is the most expensive movie of Indian cinema. For a song in this movie, Vikram weighs just 45 kg and around 12 hours of make-up was involved every day. Vikram used to be in a large fridge when the shots weren’t happening, and food was given to him through a tube. “The song was shot for 2 hours each day and a doctor was there on the spot everyday to monitor Vikram’s health,” said Venu Ravichandran, producer and distributor. With music by A R Rahman, the songs have topped all charts. The media rights of the film have been purchased by Jaya TV for a whopping Rs 200 million. The film is expected to be released by Diwali this year.
