The former Governor of California state made a wholesome one-day trip to Chennai. Right after he landed from his private jet, the Terminator star made news with his each move. He met the Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and later left for the audio launch.

I, a Vikram-starrer movie has raised lot of expectations. Budgeted at Rs 1.85 billion, the movie has been under production for more than 2 years. Till date, it is the most expensive movie of Indian cinema. For a song in this movie, Vikram weighs just 45 kg and around 12 hours of make-up was involved every day. Vikram used to be in a large fridge when the shots weren’t happening, and food was given to him through a tube. “The song was shot for 2 hours each day and a doctor was there on the spot everyday to monitor Vikram’s health,” said Venu Ravichandran, producer and distributor. With music by A R Rahman, the songs have topped all charts. The media rights of the film have been purchased by Jaya TV for a whopping Rs 200 million. The film is expected to be released by Diwali this year.
