It indeed is attractive for investments
Tamil Nadu is planning its Global Investors’ Meet (GIM) on 9th and 10th September, 2015. The state’s industry department is overdrive to showcase Tamil Nadu and the very many factors that are attractive for investment.

Road shows have been conducted in several countries abroad by senior civil servants including C V Sankar, Additional Chief Secretary, Industry Department, S Krishnan, Principal Secretary, Planning & Development, K Shanmugam,  Principal Secretary, Department of Finance and M Velmurugan, Executive Vice Chairman, Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance & Export Promotion Bureau. Such promotions have also been conducted in several cities in India addressed by ministers, senior civil servants and prominent business leaders of the state.

IE, in cooperation with the state, is planning to produce a special issue for GIM.

In this we report on industrial clusters spread across the state that have flourishing manufacturing units. Reports on Hyundai Motors and Dell Computers were presented in our May issue. We present interviews with a couple of senior civil servants and two prominent business leaders of the state. These focus on the myriad attractions of the state to invest and grow.  In the months ahead we plan to present more news and views.
