KCR’s I-day bonanza

After unfurling the national flag at the Golconda Fort on the occasion of India’s 70th Independence Day, Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, delighted unemployed youth by offering bounteous job opportunities with the state government. Apart from 27,660 jobs already filled up, KCR announced that a further 84,876 jobs had been created thus taking the total to 1, 12,536 which exceeds the promised one lakh jobs! While the police department tops the list with 37,820 employment opportunities, the power sector and education department follow suit with 12,961 and 12,005 vacancies respectively.
