AL introduces Guru & Partner

Ashok Leyland has introduced two new trucks – Guru, an intermediate commercial vehicle (ICV) and Partner, a light commercial vehicle (LCV).

With these launches, we are closer to our vision of emerging as one of the top 10 truck makers globally, ” said Vinod K Dasari, CEO and Managing Director, Ashok Leyland Ltd.

Guru comes in the price range of Rs.14.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) to Rs.16.72 lakh including VAT and the Partner 6-tyre, 14 ft HSD BS IV is priced at Rs.10.59 lakh and Partner 4-tyre, 14 ft HSD BS IV at Rs.10.29 lakh.

Partner is industry’s first truck in its segment with an air conditioned (AC) cabin and equipped with a BS-IV engine, said Nitin Seth, President - Light Commercial Vehicles, Ashok Leyland.
