Tata Motors bets on new launches

Tata Motors  rolled out its new utility vehicle (UV) Hexa, described as a life style vehicle by the company.

Hexa, with a starting price of Rs.12,08,798 (ex-showroom Maharashtra) for the manual transmission variant and Rs. 14,98,382 for the automatic variant and will be available in over 300 sales outlets.

Hexa will be positioned in the segment that has vehicles such as Innova Crysta and Mahindra XUV5OO. They have starting prices of Rs.17.2 lakh and Rs.12.2 lakh respectively.

The company expects to attract buyers in the category of mid-size sedan (Honda City or Maruti Ciaz segment) or compact SUVs.
