Ganesh’s mantras

Besides providing a simplified regime for businesses to operate the top three infrastructure areas to focus are Electricity, Roads and Simple and Employment friendly labour laws.

Availability of electric power 24/7 at a reasonable price is the first priority. Tamil Nadu has a huge deficit in this area. A few big projects, privatization of distribution and cut in both subsidies and free power are key steps to solve this problem.  A speedy program to improve connectivity and quality of roads is vital. This is essential to improve the quality of life of commuting employees and improve their productivity. It is also important to improve speed of movements of goods.

Finally, employment oriented simple labor laws are the need of the hour. Progressive states that will attract future investments will be those that simplify labour laws and make it employment friendly.
