Technology and economic development should be linked

“We have to rethink how convergence of technology can solve the problems of rural India and unleash their potential without destroying the environment,” said Dr APJ Abdul Kalam
Delivering the seventh Sage- MSE endowment lecture, Kalam said that it is necessary to link technology with economic development and the impact will be huge. To reduce social inequalities,he suggested the government to create a good atmosphere for education and employment for all classes of people.
Kalam released book “Environmental and fiscal reforms in India,” edited by
D K Srivastava, former Director of MSE.
