RenewX 2025 begins tomorrow

Informa Markets will host RenewX 2025, South India’s premier renewable energy sourcing fair, at the Chennai Trade Centre from 23 to 25 April 2025.

This year’s edition will be held under the theme “Driving Renewable Energy Potential, Celebrating South India’s Legacy of Excellence”. It will offer a platform for industry experts, government leaders and business stakeholders to explore the future of renewable energy across the region.

The inaugural ceremony will witness the presence of key figures in India’s clean energy space, including:
Dr. Rajesh Katyal, Director General, National Institute of Wind Energy, Mr. Ashok Kumar, President, Tamil Nadu Solar Energy Developers Association, Mr. Sivaramakrishnan, President, Kerala Renewable Energy Entrepreneurs Association, Mr. Burra Ashok Kumar Goud, President, Telangana Solar Energy Association, and Mr. Ramesh Shivanna, President, Karnataka Renewable Energy Manufacturers Association.

Day 1 will focus on international cooperation and green manufacturing. Sessions will explore:
* India–USA solar collaboration
* Local solar PV manufacturing and self-reliance
*Technology advances in smart solar systems and inverter solutions

Day 2 will examine financial models and asset management strategies to improve the performance and cost-effectiveness of solar energy systems. Highlights will include:
*Solar savings for residential and industrial users
*Innovations in module assembly and mounting technologies
*Challenges and solutions in solar farm development

Day 3 will spotlight bio-energy with the Bio-Energy Conference 2025, discussing topics such as:
*The role of biogas and biofuels in India’s renewable energy mix
*Policy developments and their economic impact
*Technological innovations and business opportunities in the bio-energy sector

RenewX 2025 will bring together diverse stakeholders to shape the next phase of India’s renewable energy journey. The event aims to drive discussions, forge partnerships and promote sustainable energy solutions across South India.
