The branch, staffed by five women bankers, is designed to offer a more inclusive and welcoming environment for women customers, said a statement.
Spread over 1,300 sq. ft., the branch will offer retail banking services, including savings and current accounts, fixed and recurring deposits, as well as credit offerings such as personal loans, auto loans, mortgages, and credit cards.
“Through such branches, we aim to provide a platform where our women customers can avail themselves of banking services in a more comfortable and convenient space, encouraging greater participation by women in the financial ecosystem,” said Vineet Dhar, Head – Branch Banking & Home Markets at IndusInd Bank.
With this latest addition, IndusInd Bank now operates all-women branches in key cities including Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Thiruvananthapuram.
As of March 31, 2025, the bank boasts over 800 branches in Southern India, reinforcing its commitment to expanding its footprint while promoting diversity and customer-centric banking.
