Pet Prakalp India rises Rs 14 cr in Series A round

Right4Paws, a pet nutrition brand owned by a pet care company from Coimbatore, Pet Prakalp India Pvt Ltd., today announced that the brand had raised Rs 14 crore in the Series A Round.

The capital raised will be utilised to expand manufacturing infrastructure, scale production capacity and strengthen internal capabilities. The company also plans to onboard specialised talent, introduce new product categories across functional and life-stage nutrition and expand its distribution footprint across Indian markets, while building a strong foundation for global exports.

Addressing a press conference, Dhanu Roy, Founder and Director, said, “This fund-raiser marks a major milestone in our mission to elevate pet nutrition standards in India. At Right4paws, we combine the benefits of species-appropriate whole foods with the convenience of modern dry nutrition.

A key differentiator in Right4Paws is the patent-awaited proprietary Multi Factor Controlled Dehydration (MFCD) technology designed to preserve ingredients, nutrient integrity, bio-availability and natural characteristics. Its products also come into two categories such as Pet food and Pet Wellness.

Sameer Achan, Co-Founder and Director of Right4Paws, said that the company was going to increase the capacity of its plant to 4 times bigger and make it a “Natural Food Brand” made in India.

The company is also preparing EU-compliant manufacturing processes to support future overseas expansion, while continuing to build trust through values, culture and consistent outcomes.
