Ashok Leyland is the official sponsor of Chennai Super Kings

Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland, the flagship of the Hinduja Group, will be the official sponsor of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the five-time IPL (Indian Premier League) champion

“This partnership continues the long-standing association between CSK and the Hinduja Group, building on the successful collaboration with Gulf Oil, another group company, forover 15 years,” said a release.

The partnership was officially announced at Ashok Leyland’s headquarters in Chennai by Mr. Dheeraj Hinduja, Chairman, Ashok Leyland, and Mr. Shenu Agarwal, MD & CEO, Ashok Leyland, in the presence of Ruturaj Gaikwad, captain of CSK, and Ayush Mhatre, India’s 2026 U-19 World Cup Winning Captain.

Mr. Dheeraj Hinduja, Chairman, Ashok Leyland, said “through this partnership, we celebrate our shared values of resilience and high performance. We are proud to support a team that has brought immense pride to our home city.”

Mr. KS Viswanathan, Managing Director, Chennai Super Kings, said “this partnership brings together two institutions built on performance, resilience and a strong community connect.”

Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd, a Hinduja Group Company announced the extension of its long-standing partnership with the Chennai Super
Kings (CSK). The association will continue with Gulf now being the Official Lubricants Partner of the franchise for the next four years.

Gulf’s journey with the Chennai Super Kings spans across thirteen seasons.
