The launch also marks the brand’s foray into Ayurveda. Designed to simplify haircare routines, the Meera 2-in-1 Shampoo Mask is used just like a regular shampoo, cleansing the hair while delivering the deep conditioning of a mask, with up to 120 hours of intense conditioning in a single step, the company said in a statement.

“Meera has been one of South India’s most trusted traditional haircare brands for decades, built on ingredient wisdom and haircare practices passed down through generations. With the Meera 2-in-1 Shampoo Mask, we are reimagining this heritage in a new format that encourages consumers to move towards more convenient solutions suited to today’s fast-paced lifestyles. Developed by our in-house R&D team and manufactured under an Ayurveda license, this launch reflects CavinKare’s continued focus on disruptive innovations while staying rooted in tradition. It also marks the beginning of Meera’s Ayurvedic journey, with more innovations planned as part of our Ayurvedic product line-up going forward,” Rajat Nanda, Business Head – Personal Care, CavinKare, said in a statement.

At the heart of the formulation is a blend of ingredients widely valued in traditional haircare, including Hibiscus, Sooryamukhi Oil, Bhringraj, Aloe Vera, Amla and Fenugreek. Together, these ingredients form an Ayurveda-inspired formulation designed to nourish hair, help reduce hair breakage and deliver long-lasting conditioning benefits, while helping users achieve salon-smooth hair at home with Ayurvedic care, the company said.

Used just like a regular shampoo with no leave-in time required, the Meera 2-in-1 Shampoo Mask delivers the deep conditioning benefits of a hair mask while maintaining the ease of a single-step wash-day routine. To help users understand this new category better, the product packaging also includes educational information explaining the concept and benefits of a shampoo mask, further strengthening awareness of this emerging format in everyday haircare, it added.

The Meera 2-in-1 Shampoo Mask is available across leading e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and is currently available in a 100gm pack priced at ₹300/-, making the innovation accessible to users seeking effective haircare solutions rooted in traditional ingredients, the company said.
