The collaboration aims to strengthen BharatBenz’s presence in key mining regions across India, particularly in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and the northern, eastern, and northeastern states.

GTPL, part of the Gainwell Group, will play a pivotal role in delivering BharatBenz’s high-performance mining truck solutions—including the flagship 3532CM (8×4) model—to sectors such as coal, iron ore, and limestone mining, the companies said in a statement.

The partnership places strong emphasis on after-sales support. GTPL will offer comprehensive maintenance services, including preventive care, scheduled servicing, on-site repairs, and express service options aimed at minimising vehicle downtime. Strategically located spare parts distribution centres will further help ensure quick turnaround times and operational continuity.

Rajiv Chaturvedi, President and Chief Business Officer of DICV, said the partnership is designed to meet the evolving demands of the mining industry while supporting broader infrastructure development. He noted that BharatBenz is well-positioned to address the customised needs of customers in both sectors, with the mining industry being a core focus for the company.

He added that the alliance with GTPL would elevate BharatBenz’s after-sales and repair offerings, helping reduce disruptions and improve efficiency for customers.

Echoing this, Sunil Chaturvedi, Chairman and Managing Director of GTPL, said the collaboration would enable them to deliver unmatched value and service support in the mining segment. He added that it enhances GTPL’s footprint in key mining territories and aligns with their mission to provide comprehensive growth solutions.

The BharatBenz 3532CM (8×4) is powered by the OM926 engine, compliant with Bharat Stage VI – OBD-2 norms. It delivers 320 horsepower and 1,250 Nm of torque. Built for India’s demanding mining conditions, it comes in multiple configurations—including 18/19 Cu.m scoop and 27 Cu.m coal box bodies—with options for both manual and AMT transmissions.

DICV indicated that the partnership may expand in the future, with additional offerings planned for the mining and infrastructure sectors.
