ARISE—short for Aspiring, Recognizing Individuals for Success and Excellence—is designed to combine academic learning with practical business exposure. It follows a two-phase structure, with the first phase already underway at the IIM Tiruchirappalli and MDI Gurgaon campuses. Phase 2 is scheduled to roll out in the third quarter of FY2026.
The curriculum includes leadership labs, business simulations, cross-functional problem-solving sessions, and experiential learning modules to help participants develop strategic thinking and collaborative leadership skills.
Natwar Kadel, Vertical Head – Human Resources at HMIL, said, “Our partnership with IIM-T and MDI is part of a long-term investment in developing future-ready leaders. ARISE is designed to unlock the full potential of our talent and align it with the company’s growth vision.”
Participants in the programme were selected through a rigorous process based on role, performance, assessments, and leadership potential. The programme integrates a blend of education, industry exposure, and hands-on experience, culminating in a final assessment of projects and learning outcomes.
With ARISE, HMIL aims to strengthen its internal talent pipeline, boost employee engagement, and support career development through a structured, high-impact learning journey.
