The SUV reached this landmark in just 32 months, setting a new benchmark in the mid-size SUV segment. Strong Hybrid variants of the Grand Vitara led the growth in FY24-25, registering a 43% year-on-year increase, according to a statement.

The Grand Vitara has played a pivotal role in strengthening MSIL’s presence in the competitive mid-SUV market.

ā€œWe thank our 3 lakh strong Grand Vitara family for their trust in Maruti Suzuki,ā€ said Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, MSIL. ā€œDesigned for today’s urban, tech-savvy, and progressive individuals, the Grand Vitara combines bold aesthetics, advanced technology, and a comprehensive suite of safety features, underscoring its positioning as a tech SUV.ā€

To celebrate the milestone, Maruti Suzuki has launched a new campaign titled ā€˜Driven by Tech’. The campaign highlights the Grand Vitara’s dual character and capability — showcasing a Strong Hybrid powertrain for the eco-conscious tech entrepreneur, and the rugged Allgrip select 4×4 system for adventurous personalities. A short film accompanying the campaign emphasizes how the SUV effortlessly connects diverse lifestyles and driving needs.

The 2025 Grand Vitara brings several upgrades, including expanded sunroof availability across Zeta (O), Alpha (O), Zeta+ (O), and Alpha+ (O) variants. The model continues to offer premium features such as R17 precision-cut alloy wheels, ventilated seats, 8-way powered driver seat, wireless charging dock, a 22.86cm Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system, and a premium sound system by ClarionĀ®.

The Grand Vitara comes with six airbags, 3-point ELR seat belts for all seats, ISOFIX mounts, ESPĀ® with Hill Hold Assist, and front and rear disc brakes with ABS and EBD, standard across all variants.
