The Rs 22,562 crore issue was one of the most awaited IPO of the year and is the second biggest after Hyundai Motor India Ltd Rs 27,870-crore issue in 2024.
NSE IPO consisted entirely of an offer for sale (OFS) of 12.64 crore share by existing shareholders. Since it is offer for sale NSE will not get any proceeds from the issue and it will go to the selling shareholders.
After a flat debut, NSE shares rose up to Rs 1,878. The shares were last trading at Rs 1,844 on BSE, up 3 per cent from the issue price.
