Stalin kickstarts Delta Electronics’ ₹450 cr expansion projects

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday laid the foundation stone for two expansion projects of Delta Electronics India Private Limited, located in the SIPCOT Industrial Park, Kurubarapalli, Hosur, in Krishnagiri district.

The expansions, involving an investment of ₹450 crore, are expected to generate employment for over 400 people. As part of the ceremony, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a newly upgraded production line at the facility, according to a statement.

Delta Electronics India Private Ltd is a subsidiary of the Taiwan-based Delta Group, a global leader in power and energy management solutions and advanced electronic component manufacturing. The company’s global revenue stood at about $13.13 billion in 2024.

The Hosur facility manufactures power distribution units, DC fans, and switch-mode power supply (SMPS) products, catering to both domestic markets and international exports.

The two new expansion projects are meant to enhance production capacity and are aligned with the company’s growth plans in India. The upgraded production line inaugurated on Thursday  is designed with advanced capabilities, supporting Delta’s mission to serve as a hub for cutting-edge electronics manufacturing in India.
