TESLA COMES TO Bengaluru with new name for its Indian subsidiary,  Tesla India Motors and Energy. The company will set up a R&D unit and a manufacturing plant for its electric vehicles in the country. Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Union Minister for Road Transport, Nitin Gadkari, took the social media platform twitter to confirm that Tesla would enter the Indian market in early 2021.
