He was responding to a question about the current political situation in Tamil Nadu, with uncertainty over government formation post the assembly election results.
“The entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu when I interact with them, their resilience and confidence level and focus on business are unparalleled,” Babu said.
“During Covid, we were shaken. Nothing happened to our major accounts and all of them were able to survive and sustain. That shows the level of resilience,” he added.
Babu pointed out that the Tiruppur belt was affected by US tariffs, but they were navigating and able to manage the challenges.
“Resilience level of industrialists in Tamil Nadu is so good. They have seen ups and downs and are able to manage them very well,” he added.
The current political developments are keenly watched by industrialists, with some expressing concern over the uncertain situation.
In Tamil Nadu, despite the regime changes, the policies have remained stable.
While industrialists are keeping their fingers crossed and are on a wait and watch mode, they are hoping for a smooth resolution.
