Marking its first-ever media conference, RCCL also unveiled a new brand identity featuring a refreshed logo, a celebrity brand ambassador, and an ambitious roadmap to scale up its revenues from the current ₹100+ crore to ₹500 crore by 2030.

The new residential project Blue Jewel is located just before the Muthukadu Boathouse on the scenic ECR, a fast-emerging residential destination in New Chennai.

“Once considered a weekend retreat, ECR is now gaining popularity as a permanent home base, particularly for the city’s IT professionals,” said Rajkumar Satchidanandam, Director of RCCL and son of the company’s co-founder R. Satchidanandam. He highlighted the location’s appeal and the project’s design sensibility, noting that the site—though slightly narrow—has been thoughtfully planned to maximize openness and airflow. The apartments are designed to capture sweeping views of the Bay of Bengal, the Muthukadu backwaters, and the Buckingham Canal, offering a rare blend of triple vistas that the company sees as a major unique selling proposition.

The high-rise development comprises 14 residential floors atop a two-level parking podium, which includes a lower basement for services and an upper basement with a stilt level for vehicle parking, seamlessly accessible from ECR. Each 3BHK apartment spans 2,200 sq. ft., with prices starting at ₹1.6 crore.

The Blue Jewel project is expected to be completed within three years and has already secured four bookings. About 20–25 percent of sales across RCCL’s projects come from repeat customers and referrals.

The project promises privacy and exclusivity, with only two apartments per floor. Each of the two towers will have central service cores, equipped with two lifts and two staircases, including a fire escape. Amenities include a children’s play area, senior citizen seating zones, landscaped gardens, a top-floor gym, and a rooftop swimming pool. In line with sustainable building practices, the project will incorporate eco-friendly materials and feature a solar rooftop system.

RCCL’s Co-founder and Managing Director, R. Jeyakumar, highlighted the company’s consistent and conservative growth approach, built on discipline and self-reliance. RCCL has avoided excessive financial leverage, relying instead on strong institutional partnerships with banks like SBI and LIC, and deploying its own capital.

Over the years, RCCL has completed 111 projects, delivering homes to over 3,000 families, and has over one million square feet of ongoing development. Among its key residential projects are Harmony, a 230-apartment development in Pallikaranai, and Crystal Springs, a 450-unit complex in Medavakkam.

RCCL has also executed several infrastructure projects in Chennai, including Rajarathinam Stadium for the Airport Authority, the CBCID Headquarters, the Oragadam Steel Development Centre, Balaji Dental College, and Tagore Medical College, the latter completed in record time. It was also among the early movers in establishing an IT Park on the 200-ft Radial Road, now a thriving commercial corridor.

Mewanwhile, the company is actively exploring expansion into other locations in the state, beginning with Kancheepuram and Madurai.

RCCL has signed actress Shruti Haasan as its official brand ambassador.
