Maruti to add 500 new service points in FY26

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL), India's top carmaker, has announced an ambitious plan to further strengthen its after-sales service network by adding approximately 500 new service touchpoints across the country during this fiscal. This move is aimed at enhancing customer convenience and ensuring easier access to reliable, high-quality service, particularly in emerging markets and underserved regions.

The company has already set up 91 of these new facilities. On Monday, the company announced the announced the inauguration of its 5,500th service touchpoint in in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

With the addition, the company’s service network now spans 2,764 cities and includes nearly 40,000 service bays — capable of servicing up to 30 million vehicles annually.

In FY 2024-25 alone, Maruti Suzuki serviced over 27 million vehicles, its highest-ever in a single year. It has established 5,500 service touchpoints across 2,764 cities.

Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of MSIL, said that one of the key factors most customers consider when buying a new car is the availability of a nearby and convenient service workshop that provides genuine and reliable service at a reasonable cost, offering them complete peace of mind.

In FY 2024-25, Maruti Suzuki added 460 new service outlets — averaging more than one per day — and aims to sustain this momentum in the current financial year.
