Tata Motors, India’s leading commercial vehicle maker, has launched its all-new 9-seater Winger Plus, priced at ₹20.60 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), targeting at staff transportation segment and the travel and tourism sector.
The Winger Plus comes with reclining captain seats with armrests, personal USB charging points, individual AC vents and ample legroom, along with a wide cabin and spacious luggage area. Built on a monocoque chassis, it will offer enhanced stability and safety, while car-like ride and handling are designed to reduce driver fatigue, according to a statement.
Powered by a 2.2-litre Dicor diesel engine producing 100 hp and 200 Nm of torque, the vehicle is also equipped with Tata Motors’ connected platform Fleet Edge, enabling real-time tracking, diagnostics and fleet optimisation.
“The Winger Plus has been engineered to deliver a premium experience for passengers and a strong value proposition for fleet operators,” said Anand S, Vice President & Head – Commercial Passenger Vehicle Business, Tata Motors.
The launch also strengthens Tata Motors’ commercial passenger vehicle portfolio, which spans 9-seater to 55-seater offerings across multiple powertrains.
The company’s Sampoorna Seva 2.0 programme further supports customers with lifecycle services, including guaranteed turnaround times, annual maintenance contracts, genuine spare parts and breakdown assistance.
