Relux joins TNGECL to set up 500 EV charging stations

Relux Electric Private Limited, an electric vehicle charging infrastructure provider, has teamed up with the Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited (TNGECL), a state-owned company established in 2024, to accelerate Tamil Nadu's green energy initiatives, to set up 500 EV charging stations across the state.

Relux Electric and TNGECL will conduct a feasibility study to identify suitable government-owned lands across Tamil Nadu for the charging stations.

“This collaboration between the state and Relux comes at the right time to accelerate EV adoption in Tamil Nadu. It will be a significant step towards transforming Tamil Nadu into an electric mobility hub and will open up opportunities to further strengthen charging infrastructure at customer-friendly locations,” said Mr. Karthikeyan S., Managing Director, Relux Electric Private Limited, in a release.
