These MoUs have opened up over 4 lakh new job opportunities, he said in a post on X.

What stood out was not just the growth, but also the fact that it was distributed and not clustered, Rajaa said.

He pointed out that investment conclaves moved beyond Chennai and the regional spread of investments improved.

Industrial employment reached new districts, and many new TIDEL Neo parks took IT Infra closer to home, Rajaa said.

He also noted that first ever SIPCOT parks were established in districts like Thenkasi, Madurai, Thiruvarur.

A 2,000-acre TIDCO Global City near Chennai was announced, anchoring IT, FinTech, R&D and deep-tech jobs at scale, the Minister said.

He also said that the State rolled out Tamil Nadu Maritime Transport Manufacturing Policy 2025, Tamil Nadu Space Industrial Policy 2025 and a dedicated toy manufacturing policy. Tamil Nadu was the first state to formulate and launch its own Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme.

Rajaa noted that more than 50 new Global Capability Centres were added.

Nearly 10 million square feet of office space was absorbed. Global university partnerships and industry-linked research pipelines were established, he said.

Tamil Nadu Semiconductor Mission and announcement of an inch-fab facility and Centres of Excellence for Pump Motors and Foundry in Coimbatore were among the other developments highlighted by the minister.
