Indian Army in pact with Zoho for digital transformation

Indian Army has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Zoho Corporation, furthering indigenous digital transformation in alignment with India’s JAI (Jointness, Atmanirbharta & Innovation) mission.

The MoU was signed by Lieutenant General Harsh Chhibber, DGIS and Rajendran Dandapani, Director of Engineering, Zoho Corporation, in the presence of Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu, the Additional Directorate General of Public Information, IHQ of MoD (Army), said in a post on X.

The partnership aims to foster application-oriented research & development, develop secure and sustainable digital solutions and enhance technology-driven skill sets within the Indian Army, accelerating its transformation into a future-ready, digitally empowered force, the post added.

The JAI – Jointness, Atmanirbharta and Innovation mission aims at deepening jointness, promoting self-reliance, and fostering innovation across all dimensions of military planning and execution.
