Minister Keerthana Chairs Budget Consultation Meeting

Tamil Nadu Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce, S. Keerthana, on Saturday chaired a consultation meeting at the Industries Department Conference Hall in the Secretariat to review the Budget Demand for Grants for the financial year 2026-27.

Detailed discussions were held on the Department’s ongoing development initiatives, the progress of key industrial projects, and new proposals aimed at strengthening Tamil Nadu’s industrial ecosystem, attracting investments, creating employment opportunities, and sustaining the State’s leadership in industrial growth, according to a statement.

Industry Secretary N Vijayakumar, senior representatives of Guidance Tamil Nadu, SIPCOT, TIDCO, TIIC, TNPL, TANCEM and TANSALT attended the meeting.

TVK government will present its firs budget on 5 August.
