“Tamil Nadu is not just growing; we are building the ecosystem to grow faster,” she said in a post on X. The bill seeks to provide deemed approval for projects within 21 days, with certain exemptions.

The Facilitation Commission will be headed by Chief Secretary M Saikumar and will bring 22 state laws under a new investment facilitation framework.

The Bills means focused for over Rs 200 crore investments, the Minister said.

“Faster clearances through stronger inter-departmental coordination. Tracking projects from proposal to operations • Greater focus on investments creating over 5000 jobs ,” she said.

It will also lead to more global and Tamil-origin investments.  Stronger export-led growth, Keerthana said.

The bills will also enable better utilisation of industrial land • High-level monitoring and accountability to keep projects moving, she said.

“Our goal is clear: Investment → Execution → Employment → Growth. Because an investment is only successful when it reaches the ground and creates opportunities for people,” Keerthana said.
