ACME Sikar signs PPA for Rajasthan project

ACME Sikar Solar Private Ltd., a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd., has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW solar project in Sikar, Rajasthan. The power will be supplied at a fixed tariff of ₹3.05 per kWh.

The agreement follows the successful commissioning of the 300 MW capacity on June 23, 2025. The project was secured under SECI’s ISTS (Inter-State Transmission System) XVIII tranche, with the tariff approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on May 30, 2025, said a statement.

According to the terms of the agreement, power supply must begin on or before June 30, 2025. The project qualifies for an ISTS charges waiver, as it meets the government’s June 2025 deadline designed to incentivise early commissioning of renewable energy initiatives.

With the addition of this project, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed capacity reaches 5,130 MW, of which 2,890 MW is currently operational. The remaining capacity is at various stages of development. The company also holds a firm pipeline of 1,840 MW, backed by Letters of Award (LOAs).

ACME Solar’s portfolio is heavily weighted toward central government offtake agreements, accounting for 86% of its total capacity, with the remaining 14% tied to state distribution companies.
