Here are the key pacts signed by TN

At the Vettri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026, presided over by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay 97 companies exchanged MoUs representing Rs 67,452 crore in investment commitments and 1,06,998 projected direct and indirect jobs. Here is the list of key pacts.

Light House Green Data Center Pvt Ltd will invest Rs 10,000 crore for developing a hyperscale data centre in Thoothukudi with AI capabilities creating 400 jobs

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Private Limited will invest Rs 4,000 crore to Upgrades its 400-acre Oragadam hub for design, R&D and manufacturing of commercial vehicles. It will create 400 jobs

JK Tyre & Industries Ltd will invest Rs 5,143 crore for expanding its tyre manufacturing facility in Chennai for passenger car radial and truck, bus and radial tyres. It will create 3,510 jobs

Hinduja Group will invest Rs 2,500 crore to expand investments in renewables and automotive through solar, wind power plants and mobility solutions.

Avalon Technologies will invest Rs 1,000 crore for manufacturing of semiconductor equipment and advanced electronics and create 3,000 jobs

Saint-Gobain will invest Rs 2,000 crore for greenfield expansion in Krishnagiri and brownfield expansion in Kanchipuram.

Phoenix Kothari Footwear Ltd will invest Rs 1,000 crore in Ramanathapuram for non-leather footwear manufacturing and create 10,000 jobs

Zipper and fastening products manufacturer YKK India will invest Rs 1,651 crore in Tiruvallur and create 4,316 jobs

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks will invest Rs 1,000 crore to expand to multiple locations, create 1,500 jobs

Australia’s AVID Group proposes Rs 15,000 crore over five years across urban infrastructure, tourism, healthcare and mining components — near Chennai and Thoothukudi. It will create 12,000 jobs
