The newly-opened store showcases an extensive range of modular, configurable and personalised furniture across bedroom, living, and dining categories, along with newly- introduced soft furnishings line.
“Chennai continues to be strategically important for us, with steady residential demand and a healthy pipeline of new launches reflecting sustained end-user confidence,” said Dr. Dev Narayan Sarkar, Senior Vice-President and Head of Consumer Business (B2C), in Chennai on Wednesday.
“We are also seeing consumers in Chennai gravitate towards functional, clutter-free spaces, with a strong focus on durability, clean design and efficient use of space. Our main focus remains on strengthening accessibility while enhancing the overall consumer journey across touch-points, alongside rising demand for kitchens and integrated interior solutions,” he said.
Fielding a range of questions, he said that the company was looking at exploring other categories such as garden furniture and gaming furniture as well. He was hoping that Interio by Godrej would generate revenue Rs 550 crore from the south in FY 26-27 and garner a 25 per cent market share in Chennai. Over the next three years, Interio by Godrej is aiming to capture a market share of 40 Per cent in Chennai and projected to generate revenue of Rs 45 crore from the city and Rs 65 crore from Tamil Nadu in FY27, thus indicating an overall growth of 25 per cent in the region.
