As part of the collaboration, a specially designed 30-day immersive training programme will be introduced. This program combines classroom-based theoretical learning with practical on-the-job experience. It includes 15 days of foundational training at ASDC-certified centers, focusing on core automotive concepts and dealership functions, according to a statement.

The remaining 15 days will consist of experiential learning at authorized Kia dealerships, where candidates will receive hands-on training under expert supervision. The program will also incorporate Kia-specific processes to familiarize candidates with the brand’s standards, systems, and product offerings.

“By creating a robust talent pool through structured training and certification, we are not only empowering India’s youth with meaningful employment but also reinforcing our dealer network with skilled professionals,” said Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India.

The curriculum aims to go beyond conventional training by nurturing a new generation of automotive professionals who are not only technically proficient but also attuned to evolving customer expectations. This initiative is expected to set a benchmark in dealership workforce readiness and provide future-proof career opportunities for Indian youth.

Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will be evaluated at an ASDC centre. Those who qualify will receive a joint certification from Kia India and ASDC and become eligible for direct recruitment into sales and service roles at Kia dealerships.
