The Unit Approval Committee (UAC), chaired by C. Arthur Worchuiyo, IAS, Joint Development Commissioner, cleared eight projects spanning IT/ITES, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, according to an official release.
The largest approval went to PMI Global Technologies Pvt. Ltd., which will expand its SIPCOT Sriperumbudur facility with an investment of ₹644 crore, creating 460 jobs.
VVDN Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a newly recognized EOU, will invest ₹101.6 crore in Pollachi, generating 2,300 jobs, while Subeno India Pvt. Ltd. will set up operations at TIDEL Park, Coimbatore with a ₹4.77 crore investment and 180 new jobs.
The approved projects have also committed to employing over 25 transgender individuals, reflecting MEPZ’s push for equity alongside industrial expansion.
With these clearances, MEPZ has so far drawn close to ₹1,000 crore in investments and facilitated 10,000 jobs in FY 2025–26.
