FOUR PRIVATE COMPANIES — Mahogany Logistics Services Private Ltd, TVS SCS Global Freight Solutions Ltd, White Data Systems India Private Ltd, and Flexol Packaging (India) Ltd — are set to amalgamate with the list ed TVS Supply Chain Solutions Ltd. The National Company Law Tribunal has directed TVS Supply Chain Solutions to seek the approval of shareholders and un secured creditors for the merger of these entities with it. Why this amalgamation? Well, the reasons are not far to seek. According to TVS Supply Chain Solutions, the amalgamation will help diversify the product range, expand the business, widen the service offering, improve the competitive position, and more importantly it is expected to reduce the multiplicity of entities, thereby cutting down on the compliance costs associated with managing multiple companies. The merger of Mahogany Logistics Services in particular will simplify the holding structure of TVS Supply Chain Solutions and eliminate multiple layers of shareholding.
