Ostensibly, Pothys is keen to use this trust as its CSR arm. This trust will be the platform for Pothys to use the CSR funds for public causes. It has started KVPS Academy in Trichy. This academy will train kids who have passed 10th standard. These kids will be given a one-week class-room training in retail management at KVPS centre with a staying   facility for 50 people and free food. They will be given an opportunity to get a job also. The objective of the trust is to provide “empowerment through free skill training.” The academy is a nascent one. The fourth skill training session for the kids will commence on 1 August.
