The collaboration seeks to leverage the country’s proven 3D concrete printing technology to address Australia’s housing shortage, with potential financing support from international partners
Under this partnership, KICL will focus on handling the market development, customer relationships, local partnerships and financial coordination. Tvasta, on the other hand, will focus on providing the technology, hardware, proprietary materials, software and execution.
Addressing an event got up in Chennai on 24 April, J. Rafiq Ahmed, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of KICL, said, “The initiative focuses on facilitating the adoption of advanced construction technologies, alongside capability development to train Australians domestically in the use of these technologies to deliver the housing outcomes that align with Australian building codes and ensuring the long-term sustainability and local economic benefits.”
Adithya VS, CEO and Co- Founder of Tvasta, said that “the collaboration with KICL provides us with the market access and business development capabilities needed to scale our solutions internationally.”

With the scope of extending to West Asia and India, this MoU marks a significant milestone in India’s technology export capabilities and international construction partnerships.
