Priced competitively at ₹3.99 lakh, the Ace Pro is being touted by the company as the most affordable four-wheel mini truck in the country. It promises superior efficiency, versatility and value for budding entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Built on a modular platform, the Tata Ace Pro is available in petrol, bi-fuel (CNG + petrol), and electric variants. The vehicle is designed to meet a wide range of applications while offering customers enhanced operational flexibility, the company said in a statement.
“The launch of Tata Ace revolutionised cargo mobility in India. The new Ace Pro builds on that legacy with renewed purpose,” said Girish Wagh, Executive Director, Tata Motors. “It’s engineered for stability, safety and profitability—unlocking greater earning potential for aspiring entrepreneurs ready to shape their future,” he added.
The Ace Pro is available through Tata’s 1,250 commercial vehicle sales outlets as well as its online platform, Fleet Verse. Tata Motors is also offering financing solutions through leading banks and NBFCs, along with over 2,500 service and spare parts centres and a dedicated EV support infrastructure.
Pinaki Haldar, Vice-President and Business Head – SCVPU, said the Ace Pro was developed based on deep customer insights and tested extensively across various terrains and weather conditions. “It’s affordability, drivability and multi-fuel options offer superior value and make it a strategic addition to our portfolio,” he said.
Key features of the Ace Pro include a best-in-class payload capacity of 750 kg and a 6.5-foot deck, suitable for applications such as container transport, municipal services and refrigerated cargo. It comes with factory-fitted half-deck or flatbed load body options.
The petrol variant features a 694cc engine producing 30 bhp and 55 Nm of torque. The electric version delivers 38 bhp and 104 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of 155 km per charge, supported by an IP67-rated battery and motor. The bi-fuel option combines CNG with a 5-litre petrol backup tank, offering 26 bhp and 51 Nm of torque in CNG mode.
Inside, the cabin offers ergonomic seating, ample storage, a digital instrument cluster and an optional infotainment system. Safety is enhanced with a crash-tested AIS096-compliant cabin.
The vehicle also integrates Tata’s connected vehicle platform, Fleet Edge, which provides real-time diagnostics, driver behaviour analytics, and predictive maintenance, aimed at boosting uptime and operational efficiency.
Last week, while addressing the company’s Annual General Meeting, Tata Motors Chairman N. Chandrasekaran acknowledged that the small commercial vehicle segment has been underperforming. He stressed that improving market share in this area is a key priority for the company this year, and efforts are underway to address the gap.
