All-new Apache RTR 200 4V launched

TVS Motor Company today launched the all-new 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V, now OBD2B-compliant, marking two decades of its iconic Apache series. The new model integrates advanced technology, superior performance and bold new graphics as it continues the brand’s racing heritage.

The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is priced from Rs 1,53,990 (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available at TVS dealerships across India.

According to the company, the launch commemorates 20 years of racing innovation and excellence, with the Apache brand now backed by a global community of over six million riders.

Engineered for an enhanced riding experience, the latest RTR 200 4V features several performance upgrades. These include a new 37mm Upside Down (USD) front suspension and a hydroformed handlebar, which together provide improved control and handling. The refreshed model also introduces eye-catching red alloy wheels and will be offered in three colour options: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey.

Powered by a 197.75cc engine, the motorcycle delivers 20.8 PS at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. Rider safety and versatility are enhanced with dual-channel ABS, three-ride modes (Urban, Sport and Rain), a race-tuned slipper clutch and adjustable brake and clutch levers.

Tech-forward features include TVS SmartXonnect™ with Bluetooth and Voice Assist, a fully digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, and daytime running lights (DRLs).

Originally launched in 2016, the Apache RTR 200 4V introduced a bold new design language for the series and brought several segment-first innovations to the Indian market. These include ride modes, dual-channel ABS with Rear Lift-off Protection and a race-tuned slipper clutch.
