When Numbers Tell A Tale…

WHAT IS IN a number? Well, numbers do tell a tale of their own. There are no two views on this.

Ask the mandarins at TAFE (Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd.). They will unhesitatingly vouch for it. Indeed, the flagship company of the Chennai-based Amalgamation Group has enough reasons to celebrate milestone event. They have just seen their Massey Ferguson Dynatrack series crossing the 50,000 tractor mark. What does it signify? More than anything else, it is seen as a trust vote by the Indian farmers. Not just that, this milestone gives a clue or two to the elevated status enjoyed as the preferred tractor for farmers in the 41-50 hp segment. As Indian agriculture continues to evolve with increasing adoption of mechanisation, farmers are seeking solutions that deliver higher efficiency while remaining versatile enough to perform a wide range of tasks. The Dynatrack series has successfully addressed these evolving requirements, earning widespread customer confidence through its consistent performance in the field.

CELEBRATING FARMERS’ TRUST
Not surprisingly, the tractor-maker organised a week-long nationwide event, Massey 50K Dyna Mahotsav, across Massey Ferguson dealerships in India to celebrate the milestone. The events saw customers, dealer-partners and farming communities from across the country participate in the celebrations. The Dynatrack series continues to meet the evolving needs of Indian agriculture and commercial applications.

STRENGTHENING THE PRODUCT PORTFOLIO
TAFE, meanwhile, has launched MF 254 Dynatrack 4WD. The new tractor is powered by a robust 50 HP engine and incorporates several advanced features designed to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. These include a 12 Forward + 12 Reverse transmission, SuperShuttle™ technology, Quadra PTO, power steering, oil-immersed brakes and high hydraulic lifting capacity. Together, these features enable the

tractor to perform efficiently across a wide variety of agricultural and haulage applications while offering greater operator comfort and ease of use. Its high lifting capability and compatibility with multiple implements make it well suited for modern mechanised farming.

TAFE, incorporated in 1960 in Chennai, is the second-largest tractor manufacturer in India by volume and sells over 200,000 tractors annually. The company exports to more than 80 countries and markets four tractor brands – Massey Ferguson, TAFE, Eicher Tractors and IMT, through a dealer network of over 1600 outlets. TAFE must indeed be more than pleased by the success of Massey Ferguson’s Dynatrack series.
