IN THE FAST-EVOLVING digital world, VISICS ATG India Private Ltd. is quietly positioning itself as a crucial component for critical maintenance at high-risk industries. A subsidiary of Access Technology Group Netherlands, this organisation is quite nascent having been founded post-Covid era. With around three dozen talented professionals, this innovation-centric firm delivers high-tech and fully digital mobile solutions during maintenance turnarounds and shut-downs in industries such as petroleum refineries, petrochemical, gas and metallurgical among other industries.

TACKLING SHUTDOWNS WITH CAUTION

The nature of work, within the designated space in a shut-down situation poses high risk. Hence, it needs to be handled with extreme caution. Mohan Venkatesan, Director, VISICS, is optimistic that his organisation can do a lot to improve the safety and efficiency of the maintenance ecosystem across the process industries, in general, and riskier operation facilities, in particular.

Offering mobile high-tech solutions, on demand state-of-the-art monitoring, tracking and communication techniques, VISICS is ideally placed to offer a complete suite of managed services. They deploy a range of digital tools to ensure safety and security.

Mohan Venkatesan earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Anna University, Chennai, and went on to complete his master’s degree from University of Wales in Singapore. He has played a critical role in forming the global support division, regional business operations, research & development and software development wing locally, thus making the Indian office, a key technical operational centre for the parent company. Within a few years of inception, VISICS ATG has managed to land projects from leading companies.

INDIA AS A GLOBAL TECH HUB

The organisation’s vision aligned perfectly with India’s digital boom. “The technology ecosystem in India is of strategic importance, where building new age solutions from India for the global stage will be two peas in a pod,” highlighted Mohan Venkatesan. “With significant contributions from the VISICS India technology centre, we are on course our innovation aspiration. We have developed a new generation of hardware equipment as an OEM by building both the electronics and software suite,” he added. In the very near future, VISICS will be manufacturing its major product lines in India for global customers.
