JK Fenner looks to expand footprint

Even as it celebrated its 70th anniversary, JK Fenner (India) Ltd., a part of the JK Organisation, has set its eyes on expanding its global footprint.

Indicating this at an event marked to celebrate seven decades of innovation, resilience and growth. Vikrampati Singhania, Managing Director, JK Fenner (India) Ltd., said: “Looking ahead, our focus will be on driving future mobility, advancing sustainability and expanding our global footprint through innovation, digitalization and world-class engineering.”

Raghupati Singhania, Chairman, said, “From one facility in Madurai, we now operate nine state-of-the-art plants.” Recently, the company rolled out the 75 millionth belt from its automotive plant in Madurai, underscoring its leadership in power transmission solutions.

Founded in 1995, JK Organisation took over the management of Fenner in 1987. Since then, JK Fenner has grown from a single product manufacturer of V-belts into a diversified provider of belt systems, sealing systems and fluid transmission (hose) solutions, offering a wide portfolio across the automotive, industrial, agricultural and engineering sectors. JK Fenner also delivers customized engineering solutions for defence, railways and Industry 4.0 applications. Today, the JK Organisation employs more than 4,000 people in Tamil Nadu, with investments exceeding Rs. 7,000 crore.
