The other one lies in tackling the impact from climate change, which drives more frequent and intense hot nights. India has emerged as one of the global hotspots for climate-related sleep loss. In a new research by Climate Central across 107 Indian cities, Tamil Nadu stands out as the most affected with an average of 7.9 additional hours of sleep loss per person annually, the highest in the country.
