Hyundai launches new variant of Aura

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has expanded its compact sedan range with the launch of a new variant of the Aura — the Aura S AMT, priced at ₹8,07,700 (ex-showroom).

Powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, the AURA S AMT promises a smooth driving experience tailored to urban conditions. The new variant comes equipped with several premium features typically found in higher segments, including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs), a Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and six airbags. It also features electrically foldable Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs) with integrated turn indicators, the company stated in a release.

“The introduction of the AURA S AMT reflects our continuous efforts to democratize technology and enhance convenience. With this new variant, we aim to redefine the value proposition in the entry sedan segment by offering superior comfort, safety, performance, and convenience at an affordable price,” said Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer of HMIL.
