The partnership aims to introduce advanced handlebar components—such as switches, throttles, and related products—into the Indian and Southeast Asian two-wheeler markets, according to a company statement.
Under the agreement, DOMINO will provide technical expertise, while Pricol will manage manufacturing and distribution through its strong local network. The collaboration also opens up opportunities for cross-collaboration, including leveraging DOMINO’s aftermarket presence in Europe and the U.S.
Vikram Mohan, Managing Director of Pricol Ltd, noted that DOMINO’s legacy of innovation in motorcycle control systems complemented Pricol’s deep market understanding and manufacturing capabilities. He added that the partnership reflected a shared commitment to accelerating growth across new product offerings.
DOMINO CEO Federico Bertini said the agreement marked the company’s strategic entry into India and Southeast Asia, and expressed confidence that the collaboration would set new standards in two-wheeler control systems with a focus on innovation and quality.
Siddharth Manoharan, Group Director of Strategy at Pricol, observed that the tie-up would not only expand Pricol’s product portfolio but also strengthen its position in the handle component segment, complementing its existing driver information systems.
