Renault launches all-new Kiger at starting price of ₹6.29 lakh

French carmaker Renault India has launched its all-new Kiger, priced between ₹6.29 lakh and ₹11.29 lakh (ex-showroom), offering customers a refreshed sub-4-metre SUV with over 35 upgrades.

The latest Kiger combines bold exterior styling, premium interiors, advanced technology, enhanced safety, and turbocharged performance, according to a company statement.

The fully loaded Turbo variants—Techno and Emotion—are priced between ₹9.99 lakh and ₹11.29 lakh, while the naturally aspirated engine variants range from ₹6.29 lakh to ₹9.14 lakh. The SUV is available in seven colors, including two new shades—Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey.

The New Kiger features a striking front grille, redesigned hood, LED headlamps, taillamps, fog lamps, diamond-cut 16-inch alloy wheels, and skid plates. The cabin has been upgraded with a dual-tone dashboard, ventilated leatherette seats, new upholstery, and enhanced noise insulation for a premium driving experience.

Venkatram Mamillapalle, MD and CEO, Renault India, said that the company is launching the new Kiger in a segment that is growing fastest and contributes 50% to SUV sales and 31% to the total industry volume in the country.

The SUV comes equipped with a multi-view camera, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, wireless smartphone connectivity, a 20.32 cm floating touchscreen infotainment system, and 3D ARKAMYS® surround sound, making driving safer and more convenient.

The Kiger’s 100 PS turbo engine offers a best-in-segment torque-to-weight ratio and 20.38 kmpl fuel efficiency, while the naturally aspirated variant delivers 72 PS with 19.83 kmpl efficiency. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, Easy-R AMT, and X-Tronic CVT with D-Step technology.

The New Kiger offers 21 standard safety features, including 6 airbags, ESP, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, and pedestrian protection, built on Renault’s CMFA+ platform.
